🌬️STEAM FUN: Make a Paper Pinwheel

Pinwheels are more than just a colourful toy, they’re a hands-on way to explore science, math, art, and even reading. This simple craft is a great little STEAM activity touching on various aspects of science, technology, engineering, art and math. 🌈 What You’ll Need A square piece of paper about 6x6 inches (construction paper or cardstock) Scissors A push pin/brad fastener or pipe cleaner (depending on child safety concerns) A pencil with an eraser or straw or even fort building sticks Single hole punch or sharp pencil for punching holes Glue stick or tape Ruler (optional) Markers, crayons, or stickers ✂️ Step-by-Step Instructions 1. A Note About Learning Fun - Episode 6 - Saying Good Morning in French

In today's Learning Fun video I shared that I live in Canada then went on to talking about France and the French spoken there. After completing the video, I realized that I missed a golden opportunity to quickly share that French is also spoken in Canada! I will definitely find a way to include this in other French focused videos.

So parents and caregivers if you are watching this video with your children be sure to include this fun French fact:

French is an official language alongside English in Canada and French is not only spoken in the predominantly French province of Quebec. Right throughout Canada there are French pockets and many bilingual speakers of English and French.
